Grade 4 Band Wins 5th Straight Grand Aggregate Title

Congratulations to the grade 4 band for another fantastic season. The band earned the season-long aggregate title for best grade 4 band in the British Columbia Pipers’ Association - with wins at the BCPA Annual Gathering, the B.C. highland games, Skagit Highland Games, and the Pacific Northwest Highland Games.

Not to be outdone, our grade 5 band went two-for-two taking first place at the Skagit Valley Highland Games and the Enumclaw games. The band’s result is especially impressive considering it’s only the grade 5 band’s second season.

Kudos as well to band members Seth Baird, Max Fenwick, and Jayce Edetsberger for earning solo grand aggregate titles for beginner tenor drumming, grade 2 individual snare drumming, and grade 1 individual snare drumming respectively.

The NWJPB organization couldn’t be more proud of the hard work, dedication, and commitment these young musicians have put in this season. The long practices, late-nights, and countless hours traveling around the pacific northwest speaks to the character and maturity of every member of the two bands.
