1st Annual NW Kilted 5k Run

Feet Were Flying at Our 1st Annual NW Kilted 5k Run!

Runners, walkers, pipers and drummers had a blast at this innaugural fundraising event.

Tartan was swishing and pipes were blaring at our 1st annual NW Kilted 5k Run. About 40 participants ran or walked the entire course, inluding kids, parents, as well as local pipers and drummers from the Cascadia Pipe Band.

Huge thanks to the following event sposors:

Celtic Arts Foundation
Dat Dental

Event supporters:

Dick’s Drive In
Cascadia Pipe Band
Kona Ice
Sport Kilt

The ‘Welly toss’ game hosted by the Celtic Arts Foundation was a big hit, with participants doing their best to throw a yellow Wellington boot as far as possible for prizes.

Runners were escorted to the start line by the pipe band playing Scotland the Brave, and race participants were motivated along the route by solo pipers and drummers.

We are looking forward to next year’s run! If you would like to sponsor, support or participate - please get in touch!
